NICE Information & Telecommunication to Verify Korea-Japan Stablecoin Payments with Japan's SBI and DSRV
- NICE Information & Telecommunication, DSRV, and SBI DigiTrust (a unit of Japan's SBI Group) signed a trilateral MOU on September 30 at NICE's Seoul headquarters.
- The partnership will verify a stablecoin-based cross-border payment and settlement model between Korea and Japan.
- The model envisions Japanese users paying by QR code at NICE Information & Telecommunication's merchant network in Korea, with stablecoins used through merchant settlement.
