NTS Commissioner: "Crypto Taxation Has Limits in Catching Personal Wallet Transactions—It's a Problem Time Must Solve"

• NTS Commissioner Lim Kwang-hyun made the remarks on October 13 at a National Assembly Strategy and Finance Committee audit at the Government Sejong Complex.
• He was responding to a question from People Power Party lawmaker Park Soo-young on the state of digital asset tax preparations.
• Lim said personal-to-personal wallet transactions are hard to detect for tax purposes, a limitation shared by other countries that already tax crypto, and called it a global challenge for tax authorities that time will ultimately resolve.
