National Assembly Strategy and Finance Committee: "National Tax Service must report its crypto taxation notice plan on the 22nd"

• National Assembly Strategy and Finance Committee Chair Jo Seung-rae ordered the National Tax Service Commissioner to report plans for a virtual asset (digital asset) taxation notice at the October 22 comprehensive audit.
• The directive came during an October 13 National Assembly inspection at the Government Sejong Complex, after lawmaker Im Yi-ja (People Power Party) asked about the taxation notice schedule.
• Jo asked the National Tax Service to coordinate with the Ministry of Economy and Finance and present the government's plan for how to implement the notice.
