Jang Dong-hyeok: "Chief of Staff Lim Gwang-hyun Has Been Pushing Crypto Taxation That Young People Oppose"
- Jang Dong-hyeok, leader of the People Power Party, criticized the October 13 appointment of National Tax Service Commissioner Lim Gwang-hyun as the new presidential Chief of Staff.
- Jang said Lim has pushed for virtual asset (digital asset) taxation that young people oppose, warning of a stronger "tax bomb" and resulting public backlash.
- Jang also claimed Lim actively pursued real estate taxation and tax audits during his tenure as National Tax Service Commissioner.
