Coin Exchange App Linked to Stock Investing... FSC Chairman: "I Will Look Into the Details"

• Rep. Kang Jun-hyun (Democratic Party) raised the issue during a National Policy Committee audit of the FSC held at the National Assembly in Yeouido, Seoul on October 22.
• Kang noted that Korea Investment & Securities enabled stock investing via a digital asset exchange app starting this past summer, referencing its tie-up with crypto exchange Coinone.
• FSC Chairman Lee Eok-won said the arrangement needs closer, specific review to determine whether it complies with the finance-crypto separation principle.
