Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation: "Pursuing Measures to Protect Virtual Assets"

• KDIC's newly formed Financial Consumer Protection Committee held its inaugural meeting on November 3 at KDIC headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul.
• Among 20 detailed action items in the deliberated roadmap, 'developing digital asset protection measures' was included as one task.
• KDIC stated it will review protection gaps arising from changes in the financial environment and address issues related to digital assets.
