NPCI Expands Beyond Payments With New AI, Blockchain Arm

• NPCI, India's retail payments umbrella organization, has set up NPCI Tech Solutions Limited (NTSL) as a new technology and innovation subsidiary.
• NTSL will focus on AI and blockchain development to support digital financial infrastructure beyond NPCI's traditional payments business.
• The new arm will also build out Global Capability Center-related capabilities as part of NPCI's broader technology expansion.
