Treat blockchain as financial infrastructure, not a speculative bet

What we ask
- Plan for deposit tokens and CBDCs alongside stablecoins, across private and public chains.
- Support interoperability so on-chain assets connect to bank accounts and everyday payments.
- Regulate issuance, custody, transfer and use as parts of one financial system.
Speaking at the Injective Institutional Luncheon Forum at Conrad Seoul, Kang said the biggest story of the past year is how blockchain is changing finance. The playground of young founders has become infrastructure that traditional companies use.
Assets, movement and use
Money on-chain is widening beyond stablecoins. In Asia, deposit tokens and CBDCs will expand on both private and public networks.
Tokenised real-world assets grew fast over the year: equities up 502%, commodities 204% and bonds 146%, led by the United States.
Movement is shifting from wallet transfers to payments that reach bank accounts. Crypto card volume rose about 265%, with uses in corporate treasury as well as personal spending.
