Amy-Rose Goodey
Chief Executive Officer, Digital Economy Council of Australia
About
Amy-Rose Goodey is the chief executive of the Digital Economy Council of Australia (DECA). She was previously chief operating officer of Blockchain Australia, DECA's predecessor. When CEO Simon Callaghan left in June 2024, she was appointed managing director and the organisation rebranded as DECA. She later took the title of CEO.
As CEO she leads DECA's strategy, advocacy and industry engagement. She works with government, regulators and industry on policy for digital finance, AI and emerging technology.
Under her leadership DECA has taken part in the main stages of Australia's digital asset reforms. DECA hosted the September 2025 Global Digital Asset Regulatory Summit, where the government released its draft digital asset platform legislation, and Goodey is the named contact on DECA's submissions to Treasury and the Senate on the Digital Assets Framework Bill. That law received royal assent in April 2026.
