About

The Singapore FinTech Association (SFA) describes itself as a cross-industry, non-profit platform for collaboration across Singapore's fintech ecosystem. It reports about 6,400 industry professionals and 500 corporate members. Its Executive Committee for 2025 to 2027 is led by President Holly Fang of Finmo. In July 2024 it formed a Patron and Strategic Advisory Council, with Minister of State Alvin Tan as Patron.

SFA organises events, publications, training, certification and trade missions, and engages regulators and policymakers on behalf of members. Its subcommittees include Payments, Capital Markets Services and Web3. The Web3 subcommittee aims to build forums between policymakers, builders and users and to help shape regulation. SFA co-organises the Singapore FinTech Festival FinTech Excellence Awards with MAS.

SFA collects industry views on MAS proposals. On 25 September 2026 its Web3 and Capital Markets Services subcommittees held a townhall on MAS's proposed Payment Services Act amendments for stablecoins. Topics included issuer requirements, reserve and liquidity standards, limits on returns and the designation of systemic stablecoins. The aim was to find points needing clarification before the consultation closes on 16 October 2026.
