About

The Thai Digital Asset Association (TDA) is a non-profit industry association registered under Thailand's Trade Association Act. It describes itself as a hub for accurate information on blockchain and digital assets, a bridge between the private sector and government agencies, and a channel for complaints about digital asset wrongdoing.

Its committee is drawn largely from Thai crypto media, education and technology firms, including the founders of Bitcoin Addict Thailand, Blockchain Review and Thai Bitcast. Nares Laopannarai has been president since late 2022. The association co-hosts industry events such as Thailand Blockchain Week and Block Mountain.

TDA lobbies for a more supportive national policy on digital assets. In November 2025 it urged the next government to make digital asset promotion a national agenda item, focus on stablecoins and real-world assets, and strengthen Thailand's regulatory and promotional framework, noting that Thailand had fallen from 8th to 17th in a global crypto adoption ranking. In 2026 it co-hosted forums on Travel Rule compliance and on Thailand's regulatory progress.
