Aspakrindo-ABI
Asosiasi Blockchain dan Pedagang Aset Kripto Indonesia
Association of Indonesian blockchain firms and crypto asset traders
About
Aspakrindo-ABI is the joint Indonesian industry association for crypto asset traders and blockchain firms. It brings together Asosiasi Pedagang Aset Kripto Indonesia (Aspakrindo), formed by crypto traders registered with the commodity futures regulator Bappebti, and Asosiasi Blockchain Indonesia (ABI), founded in January 2018 by local firms including Indodax, Pundi X, Luno and Blockchain Zoo.
The two bodies merged operationally in October 2023 and now run a shared management. Robby Bun, co-founder and chief compliance officer of the exchange Reku, chairs the association. ABI had 57 members from crypto, blockchain and Web3 at the time of the merger. Its stated aims include public education and policy advocacy to government for a workable regulatory system.
The association gives evidence to the House of Representatives on crypto law. In September 2025 it asked Commission XI to allow crypto for payments and to revisit the final income tax on trades. In February 2026 it warned that the P2SK Law revision could centralise trading, cut jobs and push users to offshore platforms. In July 2026 it co-hosted with OJK the forum where the regulator set out its 2026 to 2031 roadmap for digital financial assets and crypto.
