PT IDRX Indo Inovasi
Issuer of IDRX, a rupiah-pegged stablecoin
About
IDRX is a stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the Indonesian rupiah. It is issued by PT IDRX Indo Inovasi, a company based in South Jakarta. Its chief executive is Nathanael Christian.
IDRX says each token is backed by rupiah reserves and government bonds held at Indonesian financial institutions, and that its smart contracts are audited by CertiK. Users mint IDRX by transferring rupiah from a bank account and can redeem it back to rupiah. The token runs on several blockchains, including Polygon, BNB Chain, Base, Solana and, since September 2026, Celo.
IDRX promotes rupiah stablecoins for cross-border remittances by migrant workers, local payments and the tokenisation of creative assets. It presented these uses at MASA 2026 in Singapore, an exhibition run by Indonesia's Ministry of Creative Economy. Its work is a live test case for how OJK and Bank Indonesia will treat rupiah stablecoins, which are not legal tender for payments.
