About

Robby Bun is an Indonesian crypto industry executive. He worked in futures brokerage before moving into crypto. In 2017 he and his partners began mining Ethereum, and in 2018 they set up the exchange Rekeningku, now Reku, where he is co-founder and chief compliance officer.

He chaired Aspakrindo when it merged operationally with Asosiasi Blockchain Indonesia in October 2023, and has led the combined association, Aspakrindo-ABI, since then. The role puts him at the centre of the industry's dealings with OJK and the House of Representatives.

He has argued that Indonesia's crypto rules should follow global practice. In September 2025 he told Commission XI that stablecoins such as USDT were already usable through card networks abroad and asked for a stronger association role in regulation. In 2026 he warned that the revised P2SK Law, which requires trading to be matched through an exchange, could turn licensed traders into mere entry points.
