Taiwan's BitoPro Launches Direct USD-to-USDT Conversion, Partners with Far Eastern Bank's Bankee for USD Trust Service
- BitoPro CEO Titan Cheng (Zheng Guang-tai) said the new service lets users complete account opening, FX conversion, and USD top-ups entirely through a digital process, eliminating the multiple conversions previously needed, with 24/7 availability and USD/NTD deposit-withdrawal limits calculated separately.
- Through the joint BitoPro x Bankee dedicated investment settlement account (first launched in 2024), users now get USD services on the same account, including a 3.5-point discount off the posted USD exchange rate and a monthly scheduled-transfer limit of up to US$170,000, with large conversions completable via the Bankee app without an in-branch visit.
- Alongside the fee-cut promotion (0.2% to 0.1%) running through October 31, users completing qualifying USD top-ups between October and December can earn up to 200 USDT; BitoPro has completed anti-money-laundering registration with Taiwan's Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) for virtual asset service providers.
